Incredible strength for unmatched performance FEVITITE VERTIFIX is a two-component, high strength construction epoxy adhesive for, Spot bonding large format tile and stone on vertical surfaces, For either interior or approved exterior applications. Available in a standard 15 minute set version.

AREAS OF APPLICATION:
Spot bonding marble, granite and large format ceramic tile on vertical surface and overheads in interior/exterior applications. Provides strong bond between masonry, precast concrete and stone panels. It is Ideal for fireplace surrounds, elevators and stair risers. Also suitable for bedding & fastening marble, granite and other stone slabs on walls and wainscoting.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

• All substrates must be clean and dry before application of Fevitite Vertifix
• Remove dust with a wire entire surface. Using a damp sponge (not wet), wipe the tile or stone to remove any particles or remaining dust to ensure a clean direct bond and that all ground material is removed. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
• Mix 1 part of resin & with 0.5 parts of hardner Mix until uniform color is obtained with no swirls..
• Always mix the required quantity, which can be consumed with in 30 Min as mixture would become non workable if not applied within 30 Min.
• Small quantities can be mixed with a putty knife or margin trowel. Larger quantities can be mixed with an electric drill mixer (low speed).
• Apply dabs evenly distributed on backside of the stone or tile; Re commanded is to put minimum 5 dabs per sq.ft .4 in each corner and 1 in center. Cover at least 10% of the area of each piece. Finished dab thickness must be a minimum of 1/8” (3mm).
• After applying Fevitite Vertifix stone / tile, place it on substrate and adjust for plumb and level.
• Use clamps for safety & remove them after 2 – 3 hrs. Precautions & limitations
• Even though it is advised to mix Resin & Hardener until uniform colour is attained,it is beneficial to mix for at least 2-3 minutes thoroughly. Correct R/H proportion & thorough mixing is the secret of consistent and optimum bond strength.
• Do not mix large quantity at a time.
• Never dilute R/H mix with solvents to lower the viscosity.
• Replace the respective caps of Resin & Hardener containers whenever they are not in use. Hardener tends to form skin if exposed to air for long time.
• Do not keep the R/H mix near heat source such as hotplate.
• If mixing by volume, never pour resin & hardener over one another.
